Pompano Beach Football Club U15 Boys Win Gold at Naples

Once again the Hammerheads traveled to compete in the third annual Naples 3v3 Challenge on March 22, 2008, at the North Collier Regional Park. One team ended the competition with a gold medal. The U11, U13, two U15, U17 girls, U17 boys and an open team competed in the one day event.

All teams competed and continued to improve on their previous tournaments results. The most improved team was one of the U15 teams captained by Matthew Elder. Once again two PBFC teams competed against each other. Both teams fought hard. By the end of the day the U15 team was playing for gold.  They are the first PBFC team to go undefeated for an entire tournament. In their previous tournament they went undefeated in pool play but were unable to complete their mission.
