Pompano Beach Football (Soccer) Club (PBFC) Hammerheads is a non-profit, IRS 501 (c) (3) organization that was created with a vision of Coach James Elder and Joe Silvani in 2006. Their vision was to establish a program for players who desired to learn and play the game of football (soccer) on a competitive level. Our goals are to provide an atmosphere with excellent coaching for Elementary, Middle and High School, male and female student athletes looking to improve their skills and emphasizing the importance of education. This ultimately provides the foundation for those players interested in competing at the college level. Our soccer program started with two teams but currently consists of six teams, and continues to grow. The players range from nine to sixteen years of age and are committed to prepare themselves to play at a highly competitive level. In addition to the dedicated training, our soccer program promotes an environment that instills confidence, self-esteem and leadership skills.

Sponsorship is a partnership. With certain levels of your sponsorship, you will be advertising your company at every location we travel too.  From South Florida to the west coast, the central and northern portions of the state, into Georgia, the Carolinas and any state that we can travel to, in order to compete.  Should a team, that you sponsor,  place in the top three in one of the tournaments, that team will be guaranteed a bid at the National Tournament in Orlando. Should one of those teams place in the top five (5), they will be invited to the 3v3 World Cup that takes place in Orlando in January. To say the least, your support and advertising on a team that qualifies for the nationals is priceless.

In 2007, the inaugural season, the under 16 boys competed and won the National Championship in the recreational division.  In 2008 the same team were the runner-up at the World Championships.

What PBFC Provides To Your Business:

Multiple exposures to thousands of participants, parents, relatives, coaches and community leaders who recognize those who support their family passion... PBFC Soccer!

As we continue to provide an environment that teaches fundamental skills to become effective soccer players; we do have expenses that include tournament fees, uniforms and equipment. The average expense per player is currently unknown since we are in our infancy.  Without the support of parents, fundraisers, communities and businesses, some players would be excluded from participating. The PBFC Hammerheads has asked each player and parent to seek prospective sponsors so that each player will have the opportunity to participate.

PBFC Hammerheads is associated with the Broward Sheriffs Office, Police Athletic League (PAL), a non-profit organization. All sponsorship funds are used solely for the expenses of the PBFC Hammerheads teams and other PAL expenses in the community. PAL assists all children from different backgrounds and financial levels. PAL has programs that assist children through positive mentorship, between law enforcement and children, in athletics that might otherwise be at risk.  With your donation, no matter what the amount, not only will you be helping a young player achieve their dreams, but you will also raise the awareness about the sport of soccer.
